Furniture photography is very often conducted on the customer’s site: in the factory or showroom because furniture is normally huge and heavy. White background product shots are straightforward, while lifestyle ambient shots are more complicated and artistic. If taking the lifestyle photos is not possible on site, e.g. there is no home setting in the factory, we can also take white background furniture images first. We can also do the background mockup with Photoshop and stock photos.
Due to furniture’s bulky size, irregular structure and sometimes glossy material surface, it is a labor-intensive job and it requires skillful furniture photographers. In addition, on location photo shoot incurs extra travelling and lighting setup time. Therefore, we charge higher price for furniture photography compared to product photography for smaller articles.
