A few days ago I received an E-mail. Someone told me he saw my portfolio on my website, and he liked some of my product photos very much. But he asked me two strange questions: first, are those photos on the website made by photoshop? Second, can you use a cellphone photo to make a beautiful picture like those on your website? My answer were: for photoshop I only used a few basic functions for all my photos. and I have never heard a cellphone photo can become a portfolio photo with post production. As I know if the photo is not good enough, then I will shoot again, again and again. Using photoshop to make a nice photo is very time consuming, sometimes it is simply not possible at all. I will never do that. If you want an amazing photo, you must make full use of your camera!
